Following basic commercial training at a commercial enterprise, I attended various advanced training courses as well as a language course in London. I went on to gain work experience at banks, insurance companies, trust companies and the Swiss tax administration.
My involvement in the introduction of mandatory occupational benefit insurance (BVG) at the Winterthur Insurance Company was an important career step that provided me with extensive know-how in the field.
Following several years as a bank accountant at Thurgauer Kantonalbank, I passed the Swiss Federal Certificate in Accounting (Eidg. Buchhalter) and subsequently moved to the Thurgau Cantonal Tax Office, where I worked initially as a tax inspector and later as head of the ‘Natural Persons’ department.
During this time, I underwent training as federal tax expert. Regrettably I missed passing the final exam by a narrow margin. Nevertheless, even though I did not gain the qualification, I have retained all of the knowledge.
Since 2004, I have been working on a freelance basis in the fields of bookkeeping, taxes and management consultancy, focusing in particular on business management advice and financial restructuring. Advising and supporting companies from their initial foundation through the preparation of watertight business plans to financial success brings me great pleasure. I am convinced that I have the knowledge and work experience necessary to take over many of Roland Wild’s previous responsibilities.
